Would you like to work at a leading global chemical company with a production site in Bergen op Zoom? After a period of downtime, the PPE plant is being restarted, and we are looking for an experienced E&I Technician to contribute to this!

• Job description

  In this role, you will carry out planned and unplanned repairs, overhauls and optimisations on our facilities. You will work according to the Asset Maintenance work process and contribute to the reliability and safety of the plant. You will also provide feedback to the work preparation, work with SAP and contribute to improvements.

  You will have the opportunity to participate in project reviews, safety studies and maintenance analyses such as FMEA/RCM. You will also support in setting up maintenance contracts and optimising technical documentation.

  Your duties/responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the E&PM organisation on technical expertise;
  • Draft and review QA protocols, work instructions and training;
  • Attending training courses and training new employees;
  • Participate in PHA and Maintenance studies, such as Maintainability reviews and FMEA/RCM on new systems;
  • Participate in PSSR reviews;
  • Set up and validate SAP master data such as material numbers, BoM, maintenance plans and asset hierarchy;
  • Writing and documenting/managing procedures and instructions;
  • Participate in setting up the scope of maintenance contracts with suppliers and maintenance firms.

  Our client is a global diversified chemicals company, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It produces on a global scale in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific and makes various types of products: chemicals, basic and high-performance plastics, agri-nutrients and metals.

  The client has five major production sites in Europe, including one in Bergen op Zoom. The other plant clusters are in Teesside (England), Gelsenkirchen (Germany), Geleen (Netherlands) and Cartagena (Spain). In addition, there are seven small production sites in Europe.

  The Maintenance department provides service to all plants at the Bergen op Zoom site. After a period of downtime, it was decided to put the PPE plant back into operation for production.

• Offer
  •  Mts or MBO level 4 Electrical Engineering or similar;
  • Experience of working with a computer and knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Be able to perform tasks carefully and independently and respond quickly and accurately to changes in process or organisation;
  • Team player and good communication skills;
  • Creative and driven to tackle problems at the core;
  • Results-oriented, perseverance, ability to work accurately;
  • You have a passion for engineering.
